I helped to introduce social media to ARC as a way to promote revenue-generating research. It was a simple formula: Published your revenue generating research. Blog about it, then tweet about your blog (back when Twitter was, well, you know...)
This particular blog had nothing to do with a research piece. But it got great feedback and built my audience. Job done. You can still read it on the ARC site using the link.
